Neck Pain SUCCESS!!! I am 61 years sold and have been a hairdresser for 41 ½ years, and have had many health problems over the years. I started going to Dr. Allen the first of June, it is now Oct. We live 3 hours away so this has been a commitment. I could see some changes right away. I no longer needed Zantac for the acid in my stomach and a couple of weeks after Dr. Allen started working with me my headaches quit – I was taking 10 to 12 Advil a day for headaches. One Sat. Dr. Allen met us at his office and worked me through one of my headaches. How many Drs. Care that much? Even though these factors were better, I had a disc problem in my neck and spine that started over 11 years ago – in the last 2 years I had gone to steroid injections every 3 months, but I knew I could not continue that. I was told by the Dr. that had done the injections that the disc space had collapsed and caused narrowing where the nerve roots came out. This problem had caused severe pin in my nec and going down both arms and my fingers were numb. I could stand and it would ease some, but sitting or lying down felt like knives stabbing in my body, and it would keep me awake most of the night. During all of this, it brought me so close to God that I was praying all of the time and I know God brought me to Dr. Allen for help, he has always been so patient and caring. Once we got to the office on a Friday evening at 4:20 and Dr. Allen worked with me for 3 hours – new x-rays and whatever he had to do! Then I was back on Monday morning and he worked another 1 ½ hours. I just had lots to work through and to not give into injections again. 3 weeks ago I realized the pain in my neck is gone – my arms aren’t hurting and the numbness in my fingers is almost completely gone now. I can sit down and I can sleep at night. I think we all need to realize this pain has been with us for years, it is not going to go away with one treatment but it’s worth the wait and Thank God for Drs like Dr. Allen that give us Hope! A friend told me about Dr. Huff and NUCCA. Well, I was very skeptical at first, but then the thought of having no pain won over my skepticism. After my first treatment, I had no neck pain what so ever. I rested for 15 minutes and then went back in for my second treatment. My back pain and the pain in my leg were gone and for the first time in years I was able to lay down and sit up by myself. I could kneel on the floor and get up with no help, it was the most wonderful feeling. Another benefit! The ringing in my ears is almost gone. My daughter and husband both go to Dr. Huff now and are enjoying the benefits of NUCCA. Belief in God and the hands of Dr. Huff have made a new person out of me. You don’t have to live in pain. Before my first visit with you, I suffered so much in my daily life. I had heat that radiated from my lower back, my hips, neck and back ached continuously. I have also suffered from migraine headaches since age 11. I am only in my early 40’s and felt as thought I was 80. Even my favorite activities like gardening and shopping were no longer enjoyable. I had no energy at the end of the day and spent every weekend resting and trying to recuperate from the workweek. Every night before going to sleep, my husband would rub my lower back to bring some relief so that I could fall asleep. Even lying in bed was not comfortable. My first visit with you was amazing. The treatment didn’t hurt. I was a little confused having no cracking and no pain in the actual adjustment, however, shortly after I knew something was different. Better. The next day was the real test; I woke up with energy that I haven’t felt in years. I thought it was a miracle. Not only did I enjoy cleaning my home again, afterwards I shopped for hours and still felt good enough to cook a real dinner. I have now seen you several times and my life has changed. I haven’t had migraines after very stressful events as I always have in the past. (I haven’t had any migraines since my first visit.) I have more energy and have accomplished so much. The heat in my lower back is gone and I may truly experience my first “cold” Wyoming winter this year. I sleep without any pain and I am comfortable and pain free 99% of the time. There are things I never even considered would be affected by you that have also improved. When a person feels better, they are able to think better and believe it or not, I have become a better friend, wife and daughter, all thanks to you. I wish words could explain how amazing you are. You have given me my life back and that blessing is truly heaven sent. God brings people in to our lives for a reason and you have been like a “fountain of youth” to me. I have been seeing a chiropractor about twice a week for the past year and a half. It was difficult to do daily activities like carrying groceries or lift up my son. Things like this would make my whole back and neck hurt for days. The traditional Chiropractic care I was receiving would eliminate the pain for a day or two, but it would always return. A friend of mine suggested that I try this form of Chiropractic care, it seemed to be helping her. At first I was hesitant to try or even believe how it could help. How could you get adjusted and your back feel better without cracking it? I decided to try it and I am glad I did. During my first adjustment it almost felt like blood was flowing in my back again. There was a tremendous release of pressure and almost a tingling sensation throughout my whole back. I’ve been able to hold my adjustments longer than the traditional care and I don’t get to the point of not being able to turn my head or other simple motions. I am very excited about this type of Chiropractic care because now I can have fun with my son and I don’t have to worry about whether or not I will be able to move the next day! If there are days when I start to hurt, it’s usually better the next day, whereas before I would be sore for days until I could get an adjustment. I came to see Dr. Matt because of pain at the base of the left side of the neck that had not responded to my usual methods of home treatment and had persisted for more than a week. It was wearing me out and affecting my concentration at work. I had previously had a bad experience with a Chiropractor and was not interested in the traditional Chiropractic approach. Also, I had been concerned for some time about the great effort it required me to maintain good posture of my neck and shoulders. Following the adjustment, the pain resolved with in a few days. But the difference I appreciate most is the change in my posture and how much easier it is to keep my head in proper alignment. Before I started going to their office I had frequent back and neck pain, and was regularly sick. I had gotten into the habit of popping my back and neck, only making things worse. I had also come to the conclusion that I was going to be sick, and their was nothing I could do about it. Boy was I wrong. In the three months that I have been seeing him, I have only been sick a hand full of times. Down from being sick for months at a time. I have three children all of which have been constantly sick this winter. I was only out of commission twice, while they were in and out of the doctors office all winter. I would recommend for anyone to try N.U.C.C.A, from age 0 to 100. My youngest son, Lleyton, age 6 months, has been seeing DR Allen from 19 days old. Lleyton was born with a hole in his heart between his two ventricles (the bottom two chambers), making it very difficult for him to gain weight. He ended up having surgery on the 16th of January to repair the hole. Since surgery Lleyton has gained 4 pounds in two months. Prior to surgery he had only gained a pound and a half since birth, three and a half months. Lleyton is holding his adjustment for over a month now and will probably only need to be seen a few times a year. My neck and back have been hurting since September (2002) as I had a mirror fall on my neck. Keysa Gotschall recommended I come down (from Laramie, WY) – of course I was very dubious. Lo & behold Dr. Huff put me in alignment the first visit. I am totally sold & I have been insisting that others give this a whirl. My posture is better, the edema in my feet is reduced, I breathe better, and my sleeping is awesome. I can tell when my body is out of alignment. Dr. Huff put me back quickly – he is almost a Miracle Worker! Sherry T SUCCESS!!! I came to know about Dr. Allen through my aunt, Elaine McQuay late summer of 2003. My mom suffers from migraines as a result of a run-in with viral meningitis nearly four years ago. My mom has tried lots of things to get rid of her headaches. So, when my aunt told us about Dr. Allen we were hesitant that he could help her, but decided that we'd give him a chance. Dr. Allen isn't like any doctor that I have ever met before. He doesn't have the same thought process that most doctors do, and that was refreshing. Originally, my dad was supposed to see Dr. Allen with my mom, but when he couldn't travel down to Fort Collins because of things that needed his attention at our ranch, I went in his place. I didn't feel like I was that bad off. I had been in a minor car wreck with my grandma when I was 12 and have come off a few horses, but I wasn't in much pain... so I thought. Dr. Allen adjusted me and I soon began to realize how much pain I had been in. I guess the pains grew gradually and I didn't notice them as much. My right arm would go numb and my shoulder would ache due to a fall I took with a horse last year and my hips would ache after a short time of sitting in class at college. Now, Dr. Allen is still dealing with some of the pain in my neck and upper back due to my car wreck, but the difference I feel is amazing. The best part of going to Dr. Allen isn't getting adjusted. It's seeing the Spirit work through him. He helps my mother so much and is determined to try and rid her of her headaches all together. The day after my dad got adjusted he said, "I've never felt better!" (Dr. Allen could see where Dad had an accident that caused hairline fracture in his neck before he was 20). He's been able to help my roommate, McKenzie Vivion, my boyfriend, Zach Bennett, and his dad, Roy Bennett. It seems I can't wait to tell everyone about Precision Spinal Care! A friend told me about him and how he had helped her. What she told me sounded too good to be true and I was very skeptical, but decided to see if he could help me with the pain I was having in my neck. Massage and regular chiropractic care helped for a day or two, but then the pain was back and I had trouble turning my head. I couldn’t tell much difference after my first treatment; my neck didn’t feel any different. The next morning was different though. My neck didn’t hurt and has not hurt since. My shoulders are no longer so tight either. Although I don’t hold my alignment as long as I would like, I have not had a problem with my neck in almost a year. It is much easier for me to get my horse to work now, because I’m not as tight with my back and shoulders as I was, and he can feel the difference. Dr. Allen had also helped my son with his headaches, and my daughters with their shoulders. Hopefully his care of them in their teens will help prevent problems for them in the future.
